Since January 2021, I have had the privilege of working as a General Partner at Outset Ventures; New Zealand’s very own home of deep tech,
24 Balfour Road in Parnell, now named Future House, is famous for being the starting point for both LanzaTech and Rocket Lab. Both funded by Khosla Ventures in the 2000s, their founders now work as part of the Outset investment committee to help support the next generation of founders doing improbable things from New Zealand
Outset now comprises 5000m2 of lab and engineering space and is home to dozens of deep tech ventures.
